Our Team
One of the most unique aspects of the Ocean Embassy
team is the pool of experience that was drawn
together by a shared vision to create a new
generation of marine life park. We are passionate
about marine life and fostering value for the oceans
through a hands-on approach to conservation and
education.
Today, our group of 11 key partners embodies over
200 years of collective experience in the marine
zoological field.
Most of us have spent our entire adult lives caring
for remarkable marine animals, rescuing stranded
dolphins and whales, learning about their ever
changing ecosystem, collecting valuable research
information, and sharing this knowledge with the
public.
Our team has developed some of the most popular
attraction and animal interactive concepts for many
of the world’s most prominent resorts, hotels and
theme parks. These environments have attracted and
inspired millions of children and adults and
resulted in a proven conservation model; teaching
people to care for and respect all ocean wildlife.
We are also honored to have participated in US
National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration
(NOAA) field research on bottlenose dolphins in the
Gulf of Mexico, health assessments on dolphins off
the coasts of Florida and South Carolina and worked
with multiple universities in teaching students
about how to respond to “stranding events” with
marine mammals.
Ours is a vastly exciting and unique field; yet
demanding and not without sacrifices. When you spend
your life caring for such unforgettable animals like
we do at Ocean Embassy, there’s no such thing as “9
to 5” and it’s certainly not just a job, it becomes
a passion.
